2020 Volunteer Information

Volunteers are needed during the 2020 Iron County Fair.

You may bring a family member or friend to work with, 1 shift is great, maybe 2, we do not expect you to work every day and you can choose your shift.

Exhibit Building – workers needed when exhibits are entered and judged, happening September 1st   through September 3rd and September 7th. We have committees for each section of the exhibits; these committees help patrons when entering, help judges and recording, along with pick-up.

Greeters in the Exhibit Building – you will be watching over the displays.  Hours are usually in 2 or 4 hour shifts when the Exhibit building is open to the public. Exhibit building hours schedule below. Friday, September 4th noon – 10:00 pm

Saturday, September 5th 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Sunday, September 6th 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Monday, September 7th Noon – 5:00 PM

Ticket/Gate – workers needed for Arena events.  This job includes selling tickets (money is involved), stamping hands, or computer entry.  Most events are in the evening with 4 – 5 hours possible.  Dates workers are needed is listed below:

Saturday, August 22nd – Mud Bog at 6:00 PM, gates at 3:30/4:00 PM till about 7:30 PM

Saturday, August 29th – Demolition Derby with Mini Cars 6:00 PM, gates at 4:00/4:30 PM till about 8:00 PM

Thursday, September 3rd – Little Buckaroo at 6:00 PM, gates at 5:00 PM till after Muttin’ Busting starts

Friday, September 4th – Bull, Barrels, Broncs, n’ Ropin’ at 7:00 PM, gates at 5:30/6:00 PM till after 8:00 PM

Saturday, September 5th – PRCAPro Rodeo at 7:00 PM, gates at 4:30/5:00 PM till 8:30 PM

Monday, September 7th – PRCA Pro Rodeo at 2:00 PM, gates at 12:30/1:00 PM till 3:30 PM
